When people think of the term “bespoke” they often associate high expense and a complex process from start to finish. This notion could not be further from the truth; we pride ourselves in providing a helpful and competitive service to our clients no matter the scale.
First we establish what you the client wish to achieve. You can drop in to our workshops, give us a call, or better yet we can come and see you at your own convenience. When we visit you, we’ll take a quick set of site measurements to ascertain the dimensions of the space to be worked with. We can provide you with an extensive range of samples, including everything from wood types, to paint finishes, to cornices, to worktops.
Now that we have established the dimensions, we can begin to draw up the sets of designs. These include hand drawn floor plans and also 3D computer models. This process really helps in gaining perspective of how different aspects of your kitchen or bedroom layout work as one, or how a piece of furniture will look. Alterations can now be made to the designs until you are completely satisfied with what the end product.
Manufacture can now begin. Every kitchen, bedroom and piece of furniture we make truly is unique. All the materials we use are sourced locally when quality and value for money will not be compromised. We consider everything in the manufacturing process from laying up wood so that grain and colours marry well, to making sure that only the best and most functional fittings are used.
Once the constituent parts are manufactured, we carry out a dry run assembly in our workshops to double check every part works correctly and that nothing has been overlooked. After passing this stringent quality control process, it is disassembled and is then padded and wrapped for transport. Once all of the components have been delivered to you, our own fitters arrive to begin work immediately and a typical kitchen installation takes one to two days. Our services don’t end with installation though — we endevour to provide you with highest quality of aftercare. This can be everything from helping you get to grips with how everything works, to adjusting fittings and cleaning down any marks.
At Apostrophe Woodcraft we want to be with you every step of the way. No problem or detail is ever too small and we always endeavour to make sure that you feel that your project is progressing in the direction you want.
